Shawn Bennett and Melodi Doiron began their partnership in 2001. Shawn had been a successful breeder of Golden Retrievers for 15 years and Melodi had been training dogs since the age of 12. A partnership was born and Sparkwatch Kennels and Sparkwatch Dog Training became a reality. |

Melodi has achieved her Certified Master Dog Trainer certificate and is a qualified Canadian Good Neighbour Evaluator. Melodi has also taken numerous handling classes with top Canadian Professional Handlers as well as grooming seminars. Melodi continues to hone her skills by entering dog shows and taking courses related to the Sparkwatch business. |
Through their association with national and local kennel clubs, they have not only produced dogs that are high quality and have excellent temperaments but we have also helped countless numbers of dog owners in the Niagara Region train their pets to be obedient members of their households.
Although they occasionally have puppies available it is not their main focus.
Sparkwatch would rather breed for quality than quantity.
