In 2001 Shawn Bennett and Melodi Doiron started Sparkwatch Registered Kennels and Dog Training, in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Sparkwatch Registered Kennels breed champion Golden Retrievers, own 2 male champion Papillons and are currently raising a Siberian Husky pup to become a future Champion.

We offer Obedience training classes for Novice, Intermediate Level 1 and 2 and Advance levels in a group environment and private Novice Level Obedience for those owners that require a more flexible schedule or for those dogs that require intensive training due to behaviour issues.

Sparkwatch Registered Kennels is registered with the Canadian Kennel Club to produce high quality dogs with excellent temperaments. Though breeding is not our main focus, we do occasionally have puppies available. At their weekly group classes, Sparkwatch Dog Training has helped dog owners of all breeds in the Niagara Region learn to understand and train their pets to be happy, friendly and obedient members of their families. Sparkwatch also offers private lessons and behaviour consultations to help owners deal with specific obedience issues, such as excessive barking, digging, house training, jumping and biting.
